“I used to be paralyzed in my sin, and now I’m walking after Christ with my brothers and sisters that love me.”
Addicts set free. Women out of the strip clubs. Gang members preaching on the same corners they used to run.
We have about 30 days to secure a building near Pioneer Square and PSU campus, so every one of them has a family to come home to.
Help us establish a mission base in the heart of the city.
“I used to be a gang member. I used to sell drugs, use drugs. I was a part of that society that didn’t care. Ungodly. I was not a good person, I was lost. Since I’ve come to Walk After Christ, I found myself in a way I never thought imaginable. I have a job today, I’m married, and not only do I come from the streets, we go out in the same streets and talk about God.”
“I used to be paralyzed in my sin, and now I’m walking after Christ with my brothers and sisters that love me.”
“Before Christ I was bound by addiction, sexual immorality and witchcraft. Now I am free, and setting others free.”
“[Destiny's story in her own words — coming soon.]”
“I struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts. I didn’t want to live anymore. Sadness, rejection, rage, anger, a lot of those things. Everything I was dealing with before, I have been set free from, and God has brought my joy back. I have so much peace now. I’m praying for other people and helping them get set free.”
“I used to be suicidal, depressed, a drunkard and living for the world. I am now made righteous, set free from all of the bondage that was tormenting me, and I am a child of God.”
“I was living for the world and living for lust. I felt an emptiness, a hollowness and a darkness I can’t even describe. Surrendering everything to Christ, everything has turned around. I now feel a peace I didn’t know was possible.”
We have to leave our current building. The right building has opened up in the middle of the harvest, and the down payment is due in weeks, not years.
Our online and local church family is raising $100,000 this month toward our goal. Will you help with the other $600,000?
Dear Friend,
You’ve just met a few of the people God has set free in Portland. For 16 years, Chelsea and I have ministered in this city, and in our 6 years as a church, we’ve seen thousands impacted and changed by the Gospel.
In just the last 2 months, over 200 people have given their lives to Jesus. The harvest is more ripe than ever, and people are hungry for hope and a new life. We need a place to bring them into. We have to leave our current building, and God has opened the door to this incredible opportunity. This building is near Pioneer Square and PSU campus. To secure it, we need a $700,000 down payment by November 11, 2026.
“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few.” Matthew 9:37
I’m asking you to pray about standing with us in this. Would you consider a gift that would help carry this across the finish line?
With gratitude,
The building sits near Pioneer Square and PSU campus.
Sending teams into the streets, bringing Jesus to the lost.
Addicts, the broken and the forgotten made new, one soul at a time.
New believers baptized, rooted in family, and trained to go.
Prayer and worship rising from the heart of the city.
Our online and local church family is raising $100,000 this month toward our goal. Nine partnership gifts secure the other $600,000. Each block is a place someone needs to stand.
Goes straight to the down payment. We'll send wire details on request.
Commit an amount now and complete it by November 11, 2026. Your pledge shows the seller and lender the funds are coming.
Split a larger gift between December 2026 and January 2027. Talk with your tax advisor about what works best for you.
Companies can give directly. Walk After Christ is a registered 501(c)(3), and gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
